I had been using my online encyclopedia to gain access to the ERP Definition and know everything I could about ERP, so that when my boss installed a new ERP system I would not be left in the dark about what was happening. Apparently, though, my ERP Definition was slightly different to everybody else’s and I had maybe been looking at the wrong thing because I could not understand a word anybody was saying. I stood close by to my boss and the technicians whilst they were installing the system but whenever I tried to get involved in the conversation they would stare at me as if I was from another planet. Trying to get my point across would just make my situation worse and they still would not know what I was talking about. I just could not understand their jargon and that is why I went to go and sit down.
